Supply and fit · Ipswich
Carpet, luxury vinyl tile, laminate and engineered wood for homes across Ipswich. We bring samples to you, measure every room and fit with the right underlay and subfloor preparation.
Most flooring problems come from the floor below. A Victorian terrace off Norwich Road might have suspended timber boards that flex. A 1960s semi in Chantry might have an uneven concrete screed. A newer home in Ravenswood may have underfloor heating that limits which products you can use. We check all of this at the measure, so the floor you choose suits the room it is going into.
We fit for homeowners and landlords across Ipswich. If you are fitting out an office, shop, school or care setting, see our commercial flooring in Ipswich page.
Choosing flooring is easier when you can see it in your own home. Colours look different under your lighting, next to your kitchen units or against your skirting boards. That is why we bring samples to you instead of asking you to visit a showroom, and why we measure at the same visit.
Every quote includes the things that are easy to forget: underlay, gripper, door bars, threshold strips, levelling compound where needed, and trimming doors so they close over the new floor. The price you agree covers the finished floor, not just the material.

Waterproof, warm underfoot and suited to kitchens, bathrooms and underfloor heating. Click and glue-down options.
Hard-wearing wood and stone effects at a lower price, fitted over an acoustic underlay to cut footfall noise.
A real oak top layer on a stable core, floated or glued down, and compatible with most underfloor heating.
Seamless, low-cost and fully waterproof for bathrooms, utility rooms and cloakrooms.
Levelling compound, plywood overlay and moisture checks, so the finished floor stays flat and quiet.
Kitchens need a floor that can take spills, dropped pans and constant foot traffic. LVT is the most popular choice because it is waterproof, warm underfoot and easy to clean. Engineered wood can work if you want real timber, but water left standing near the sink or dishwasher can damage it over time.
Water resistance is essential. LVT and sheet vinyl are both fully waterproof and can be sealed around baths and toilets. We do not recommend laminate in bathrooms, even products sold as water resistant, because water gets into the joints.
This is where personal preference matters most. Carpet is warm, quiet and comfortable. Engineered wood adds character. Laminate and LVT are practical for homes with children and pets. Many people choose a hard floor with a large rug for the best of both.
Carpet is still the most popular choice for bedrooms because it is warm and soft underfoot first thing in the morning. A thicker underlay improves comfort and reduces noise to the rooms below.
Hallways take the most wear in the house, along with grit and wet shoes from outside. LVT or a hard-wearing loop carpet are good choices. On stairs, carpet is safer than a hard floor, and we fit it tight on every tread with gripper and quality underlay.
Scratch resistance and easy cleaning matter most. LVT with a good wear layer stands up well to claws. If you prefer carpet, a loop or twist pile in a polypropylene or nylon fibre is easier to clean than wool.

Both. Most customers choose from our samples and we supply and fit. If you have already bought your flooring we can fit it, as long as it suits the room and the subfloor.
A bedroom carpet usually takes a couple of hours. A ground floor of LVT with subfloor preparation typically takes one to two days. We confirm timings at the measure.
Yes, with the right product. LVT, most engineered wood and many laminates are rated for it, and carpet works with a low-tog underlay. We check the manufacturer's maximum floor temperature before recommending anything.
Yes. We move standard furniture, lift and dispose of old carpet and underlay, and leave the room clean. Tell us in advance about pianos or very large wardrobes.
In almost every case, yes. Old underlay compresses over time and can make a new carpet wear faster and feel thinner. New underlay is included as standard in our carpet quotes.
Wood and some laminates need to sit in the room for 24 to 48 hours before fitting so they adjust to its temperature and humidity. LVT and carpet usually need less time. We tell you if anything needs delivering early.
Yes. We fit for landlords and letting agents across Ipswich, often between tenancies while the property is empty. Hard-wearing carpet and LVT are the usual choices for rentals.
Sometimes. LVT and laminate can go over existing hard floors if they are flat and firmly fixed. Carpet should always be removed first. We check at the measure and recommend the best approach.
